Printed text beneath the image shows "U.S. No. 221218, Gross Tons - 1255, Net Tons - 653, Length (O.A.) - 257' 8", (W.L) - 250' 6", Beam - 35' 6", Depth - 17' 4", Draft 14' 9." Built in 1921 at the Great Lakes Engineering Works, Ecorse, Michigan, for Horace E. Dodge, Detroit, Mich. Designed by Henry J. Gielow, New York City. Powered by 2 quadruple expansion steam engines built by Great Lakes Engineering Works." The name of the artist, "F. R. Crevier," is shown near the right corner of the drawing. The print was part of the "Detroit Federal Savings Great Lakes Reproduction Series 1975."
