Color postcard featuring a photograph of the hydroplane Miss Pepsi on display in the Dossin Great Lakes Museum, made by Hiawatha Card of Detroit and printed by Dexter Press, Inc. in West Nyack, New York. Text on the back of the postcard reads as follows: "Miss Pepsi Unlimited Multiple Step Hydroplane Exhibited at Dossin Great Lakes Museum Belle Isle - Detroit, Michigan First boat to quality at more than 100 m.p.h. Won Silver Cup, and only three-time winner of President's Cup. Won Detroit Memorial and Maple Leaf Trophy Races. Built in 1950 - Retired 1954. Presented to the Museum in 1963. Photograph by Allen Stross." |
