Title 1911 Model T Ford Touring Car
Description 1911 Model T Ford Touring Car, painted light green with brass trim.
It features a 20 horsepower, 4-cylinder engine, and a planetary gear system. Three pedals on the floor, from left to right, gear shift, reverse, and brake; throttle is on the column. The soft canvas top is retractable, and windshield folds in half.

It belonged to Perry Andrews who offered it to his son-in-law in 1923. The son-in-law angered Andrews when he announced his plans to turn the car into a hot-rod. In retaliation, Andrews buried the car in a field. In 1966, WJR Detroit radio star Bud Guest heard about the car and organized "The Big Dig." The car was located, gradually restored and now is in very good condition.

Gift of The Big Dig in 1982.
