Description Black and white photograph of the Henry and Clara Ford home on the north corner of Edison Street and Second Avenue, as viewed from the south. Snow covers parts of the building's lawn. Previously taped to the verso of the photo was a typewritten caption:

Henry Ford built this house at Edison and Second Avenues, Detroit, for himself, wife Clara, and 14 year-old son Edsel in 1907. The Fords lived here until moving to Dearborn in 1915. Now the Temple of Light, the house, as pictured here in 1971, looks little different than it did 60 years ago.
