Scope & Content Concert poster, designed by Gary Grimshaw, for the First Annual Detroit Rock and Roll Revival, presented by Russ Gibb and held May 30th to the 31st of 1969 at the Michigan State Fairgrounds. The line-up is includes local acts MC5, The Psychedelic Stooges, The Amboy Dukes, SRC, The Frost, The Up, Wilson Mower Pursuit, The Rationals, Teegarden and Van Winkle, Third Power, Savage Grace, the Gold Brothers, Lyman Woodard, Sky, The Train, and Caste, as well as touring acts like Chuck Berry; Sun Ra; Dr. John and Night Tripper; Johnny Winter; Terry Reid; N.Y. Rock and Roll Ensemble; David Peel and the Lower East Side; Red, White, and Blues; James Gang; and Dutch Elm. Admission is listed as $3.50. The poster contains an illustration of a stairway extending to the end flanked by a garden and two trees with a city skyline in the background. It's printed with an orange background, surrounded by a rainbow and a blue border.
