The Majestic Building, Central United Methodist Church, the David Broderick Tower, Hudson's, Sallan Jewelers, Kern's, Golde Clothing, the Detroit Opera House, Roesink's Clothes, United Shirt Distributors, Randall Clothes, the Bagley Memorial Fountain, and the Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument are all pictured. Advertisements are posted for Red Crown Gasoline, the Wayne County Democratic Committee's endorsements for the 1928 presidential and gubernatorial races (featuring the slogans "[Al] Smith and Common Sense" and ("[William Alfred] Comstock and Complete Change"), Old Gold Cigarettes (featuring Charlie Chaplin), Budweiser and Anheuser-Busch's Ginger Ale, and Lux. "Manning Bros. Detroit" is embossed into the lower left, and "94039" is printed in the lower right. "From the Manning Bros.
