Description Cabinet card bearing a sepia-toned photograph of Chester Harding's portrait of Solomon Sibley. "E.H. Husher & Co, 230 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, Mich." is embossed along the bottom border of the card. The following is printed in gold on the verso of the card:

Came to Marietta, Ohio 1795
Elected Member of the Legislative Assembly of the North West Territory 1799.
Appointed to Council of North West Territory, moved to Detroit 1799.
Married to Sarah Whipple Sproat, October 1802.
Presented with Freedom of City of Detroit 1802.
Elected Trustee of City of Detroit 1804.
Mayor in 1806.
Auditor of Public Accounts 1814-1817.
Chairman of Board of Trustees 1815.
U.S. Attorney 1815-1823.
Delegate to Congress 1821-1823.
Territorial Judge 1823-1837.
Died April 4th, 1846
