Scope & Content Color postcard depicting the Mariner's Church from the corner of Woodward Avenue and Woodbridge Street. Business signs read "Columbia Buggy Co." and Alfred Rush & Sons. Wholesale Fruit and Produce Commission". Several people are standing in front and the sidewalk is lined with baskets of peaches.
Printed on verso: Alfred Rush & Sons is the most prominent and one of the largest wholesale fruit and produce house in the state of Michigan. They carry a complete line of foreign and domestic fruits and vegetables in and out of season and make a specialty of supplying hotels, cafes, lake steamers and summer resorts. This firm has the distinction of being one of the oldest in this line of business, having been established in 1878. The picture shows part of one of the heaviest shipments of peaches consigned to the Detroit Market.
